Winamp is the best and oldest media player which I'm still loving to use until now. Start using winamp and several other media players ten years ago. Xing go sux after a few version, media player grow very fat and I was fed up to use that several years ago.
Jet Audio made a very neat, geeky interface and importantly mp3 ripping function back in 1997. But no more since then .... it made a real-comeback with newer interface last year. But not much difference and not even a rival to winamp moderen version ... which will let you play almost every music format and ripping in several format.
New players BS Player and GOM Player are very nice ... but they are not appropriate for music.
New 3rd generation interface since last update which is nicer than modern interface ( First Classic & Second Modern ). Above all else .. I'm still loving the classic interface.
